The After Happily Ever After series on BET follows ex-spouses after a divorce or separation to help their former partners move on and find new love.

The unscripted program, whose host is Bow Wow, will seek the aid of ex-spouses who have had a divorce or separation to assist their former partners in moving on and discovering new love by serving as matchmakers.

Seven ex-spouses from long-term relationships that ended in divorce or separation are featured in the movie “After Happily Ever After.” For those folks, the ex-partners will act as matchmakers, assisting them in finding new love and a cause to move on.

TARA WALLACE (Date/Ex), AMINA BUDDAFLY, and PETER GUNZ (Dater)

American rapper Peter Gunz rose to fame after working with “Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz” on the album “Make it Reign.” According to reports by Peter Gunz and Tara Wallace, dated from 2000 through 2013. Despite having two children together, they never formally acknowledged their union.

Peter married Amina Buddafly in 2013 after splitting up with his longtime girlfriend, Tara Wallace. Is it that simple to end a relationship after ten years? No. Because Peter maintained his relationship—which we might refer to as an extramarital affair—with his lover Tara Wallace even after he wed Amina.

Amina was unaware that her ex-husband Peter and Tara Wallace were having an affair. He never verbally admitted to having feelings for Tara. Even at the time, the two were the parents of a girl.

Amina separated from her cheating spouse Gunz in 2018. Their intricate love triangle and divorce incident received enormous media coverage. In several interviews, Amina, Peter’s ex-wife, emphasized her shock and the folly of believing Peter.

PAM & TROY TAYLOR (Dates) (Ex)

Boyz II Men’s debut album, “CooleyHighHarmony,” included two of his songs, and the rest, as they say, is history. Taylor has collaborated with some of the most prominent musicians, but his relationship with Trey Songz has been fruitful and long-lasting.

Pam and Troy Taylor, who were high school sweethearts, allegedly first connected through their respective churches. She is a nurse practitioner. Troy and Pam, who live in Covington, Georgia, are parents of four children.

AMARACHI ODINMA (Date) & UGO MADUKA (Ex)

Amarachi, a multi-platform writer, broadcaster, actress, and model, currently resides in Los Angeles. She is a brave, intelligent, and immensely charming host with excellent stage presence and impeccable comedic timing. After arriving in Los Angeles with just two suitcases in the fall of 2013, Amarachi started working.

The television radio program “Rhythmlatenight,” which airs live on Silverbird TV, the African equivalent of Dish Nation, from Monday through Friday, now has Amarachi as a co-host. Amarachi doesn’t intend to stop moving.

Ugo Maduka, a well-known motivational speaker, author, TV actor, and proprietor of a fashion company, travelled from Nigeria to the United States to meet Amarachi after watching her perform live on television. They had two children together and were married for four years.

JUSTIN VORISE & NANI RIVERO (Date) (Ex)

It has always been Nani Rivero’s ambition to work in the entertainment business. She has a strong passion for dancing and music and was raised in a large Puerto Rican/Dominican family. Despite living in a modest home growing up, Nani has always had lofty ambitions to succeed.

Justin is a highly motivated and results-driven worker on his LinkedIn page. Following their high school encounter, Nani and Justin fell in love. They can still successfully co-parent their son in their house in Southern California.

JEREMY MEEKS and MELISSA MEEKS (Date) (Ex)

Jeremy Meeks, an American fashion model, once belonged to the Crips gang. Meeks was apprehended in 2014 as part of the gang operation Operation Ceasefire in Stockton, California. Authorities uploaded his mugshot to Facebook after his arrest.

Meeks and Melissa Meeks, with whom he was wed from 2008 to 2018, have a child. Jeremy was imprisoned for the entire time with Melissa by his side.

Meeks and Chloe Green, the daughter of British millionaire Philip Green, were allegedly dating in June 2017. He had just returned from a trip to Turkey when the first pictures of Meeks and Green aboard a yacht surfaced.

Green gave birth to the couple’s son on May 29, 2018. After announcing their amicable separation, the couple sold their shared London house in August 2019.

NICOLE WARD & “MIKE MIKE” PHILLIPS (Date) (Ex)

Nicole Ward is the owner of a successful trucking and logistics business in Atlanta, Georgia. At an industry event, she first met “Mike Mike” Phillips, a music producer and author. They later got married and spent five years together. Two popular songs containing “Mike Mike” are the 69 Boyz’s “Tootsee Roll” and the 95 South’s “Whoot, There It Is.”

After Happily Ever After Release Date

On October 19, 2022, at 10 p.m. ET/PT, BET will telecast the first episode of After Happily Ever After.

The executive producers of Bunim/Murray Productions (MTV’s The Real World and The Challenge, OWN’s Family or Fiancé, and “After Happily Ever After”) are Julie Pizzi and Erica Ross, while Andrea Richter is the showrunner. Executive producers for BET include Angela Aguilera and Tiffany Lea Williams.

The Purpose of After Happily Ever After

The program is geared toward both men and women searching for their second-act love story while also considering the reality that they are frequently still connected to their ex-partners because of their shared history, children, and extended family.

Bow Wow will host a Singles Party on each episode of the eight-part reality series “After Happily Ever After,” complete with a new group of potential matches for the daters.

Only the ex-spouses attend these gatherings, allowing them to choose potential dates that their ex would find most appealing. To date their ex, the Exes will ask one of the competitors to live with them for 48 hours.

After the two-day date, the dater will decide whether to keep the prospect or return them to the singles pool and seek another opportunity to meet someone fresh.
