Aisha Jumwa is a representative for the Malindi constituency in the Kenyan parliament. She made her political debut when elected to the ODM party in 2017.

Aisha represented Kilifi County as a woman from 2013 to 2017 while also holding the position of commissioner for the Parliamentary Service Commission.

Throughout her political career, Aisha has been embroiled in numerous controversies.

On October 22, 2020, the Malindi MP was accused of murder in connection with the passing of Ngumbao Jola. On October 15, 2019, Jola lost her life in the confusion that followed the campaigns for a Ganda Ward by-election.

Jumwa was involved in the case, as was her boyfriend Geoffrey Otieno. At the time, Otieno served as both her driver and bodyguard.

At Takaungu Elementary School, where she received her Kenya Certificate, Aisha finished her primary education.

She enrolled in Ganze Secondary School to continue her education, and in 1992, she graduated from high school.
