The latest episode of the AMC series Mayfair Witches was filmed in Upcoming Orleans, Louisiana.
American author Anne Rice’s bestselling novel trilogy Lives of the Mayfair Witches has just been turned into a television series. The paranormal suspense series stars Jack Huston, Tongayi Chirisa, Harry Hamlin, and Alexandra Daddario.
Following the network’s most recent adaptation of Anne’s work, Interview with the Vampire, the series is the second to be based on the author’s Immortal Universe. It seeks to focus on The Witching Hour, the first book in the series.
Rowan Fielding (Daddario), a neurosurgeon who learns she is the unlikely heir and a witch’s descendant of a mighty family, is the main character. She now has to contend with a bad entity that has long troubled her family.

An forthcoming AMC series called Mayfair Witches was filmed in New Orleans, Louisiana. For Mayfair Witches, Prytania Street serves as the primary shooting location.
The author Anne Rice was born in New Orleans. The Witching Hour, the first book, is similarly set in the city’s antebellum mansion.
The first season of the show, according to creator Esta Spalding, was wrapped up in early September 2022.
Deadline reported in December 2021 that AMC had given an eight-episode series order, despite the network’s ongoing development of Interview with the Vampire, another Anne horror and vampire series.
This new program and the Vampire Chronicles series were two of the 18 shows that AMC Networks acquired the rights to in 2020. In addition to acting as producer, Mark Johnson collaborated with AMC Studios.
The fantasy drama series began filming in April 2022. The production was slated to start on Monday, April 25, and end on August 22.
Fans will be especially drawn to the breathtaking images of the ominous and terrifying house of New Orleans on Prytania Street.
Release Date Of Mayfair Witches
Rice’s Mayfair Witches will air for the first time on AMC and AMC+ on January 8, 2023.
The thriller series’ debut was originally scheduled for January 5, 2023, however it was delayed.
The first season will consist of eight episodes, the first two of which will air on January 8 in conjunction with the debut. The final episode will air on February 19, 2023, and all subsequent episodes will air on that same day every week after that.
The story’s main characters are a powerful witch family dubbed the Lashers who are guided by a spirit. Alexandra Daddario plays Rowan Fielding, a San Francisco-based psychiatrist who learns that her family is related to the Mayfair dynasty of Witches.
Rowan visits New Orleans in order to unravel the shadowy mysteries of the past after beginning to experience strange and perplexing occurrences. As she learns more about her family’s history, she becomes conscious of her own unique skills.
As she battles to maintain control over her abilities, the protagonist tries to get used to her new identity. She has to battle a sinister force that has always pursued her family.
