Since the authorities detained Melly, his mother, Jamie Demon’s King, has been fighting for his release. In Gifford, Florida, she gave birth to Kelly on May 1, 1999.
A single mother raised Melly; her father is still unidentified. Donte “Tha Gift” Taylor, another rapper, asserts paternity for YNW Melly.
Demon battled greatly to raise her baby after falling pregnant at 14. However, she shed joyful tears in response to the court’s ruling and believes her kid is getting closer to returning home.
