Throughout his life, he got experience working for over 12 different companies. After graduating in 1985, Barbieri began his professional life. He spent less than a year working as a stage in Procter & Gamble.

After that, in September 1988, the top executive was appointed Vice-President of Compagnia Privata di Finanza e Investimenti. However, he resigned from the office in August 1992 after four years.

After a month, Barbieri joined Banca Akros in September 1992 as managing director of equity capital markets. He oversaw a staff of approximately 40 specialists in the bank’s Equity Capital Markets Division, which he was in charges of.

Barbieri held office for over eight years. But while still employed at Banca Akros, he became the founder, CEO, and CIO of Akros HFR Alternative Investments in January 2000. Later, he worked for nearly four years at Pioneer Alternative Investment.

He served as the company’s general manager and CIO. He was subject to Bank of Italy regulation and accused of possessing Italian weapons.

Barbieri served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of mondoBIOTECH Holding AG for almost two years. The top executive oversaw Pacific Capital in Luxembourg for nine years as its CEO.

Before being hired as CEO, Barbieri served as Elite Model Management’s vice chairman. He started working with the organization in February 2017, and while working on the EWG, he accepted a position as Chief Risk Officer at SHS Assets Management in New York, USA.
