Jason was a point guard in the NBA for twelve seasons before retiring. After being selected by the Sacramento Kings in the first round of the 1998 NBA draft, he began his career in 1998.

Both Jason Williams and his wife Denika Kisty were Florida Gators athletes. In college is where Jason and Kisty first met.
When the Sacramento Kings chose Jason in the first round of the 1998 NBA draft, Denika was the happiest. The pair can be seen celebrating the good news while hugging each other in an old photo from 1998.
In 2003, while he was playing for the Memphis Grizzlies, the college sweethearts decided to be married. Orlando, Florida, is currently home to Williams and Kisty.
For numerous years, they shared an Orlando neighborhood with Shaquille O’Neal, his former colleague on the Miami Heat.
Former athlete Denika is now a part of the Florida Gators track and field squad. She throws the weapon and is an All-American.
On March 16, 1997, she set a record by reaching 47.70m/165-6. Kisty finished 1997 with a 160-7 record and was ranked ninth.
She competed in the javelin throw at the Olympics and was a two-time All-America for Florida’s track and field team. After graduation, Kisty didn’t continue her sports career.
