Lucy Fang, Farhan Zaidi’s wife, is a talented architect and designer. It was in college when Farhan and Lucy first crossed paths.
Farhan is in charge of all baseball-related matters for Major League Baseball’s San Francisco Giants. He made history as the first Pakistani-American to hold the general manager position in Major League Baseball.
For the 2013 season, the Athletics have named him to the role of Director of Baseball Operations. By the end of that year (2014), Zaidi had been hired as the new Los Angeles Dodgers general manager. His leadership led the Dodgers to their first World Series in 29 years.
In 2018, he took a role as President of baseball operations with the San Francisco Giants. In 2021, he made history as the first individual of South Asian ancestry to win the Sporting News Executive of the Year and MLB Executive of the Year Awards.

Farhan Zaidi’s Wife Lucy Fang
The marriage between Farhan Zaidi and Lucy Fang is eleven years old. In 2011, Farhan and Lucy exchanged wedding vows.
Both partners are MIT alums who met during their time at the institute. Lucy works as a designer and architect.
The Technology Review states that Zaidi and Fang lived together at the Burton-Conner address. After completing his doctorate, he proposed to Lucy, and they eventually wed.
Lucy and her husband have recently moved to Los Angeles. She devotes most of her time to helping others in need. The couple gave to many charities benefiting San Francisco Giants players in 2021.
Sf chronicle reports that in 2021, Lucy and Farhan gave significantly to several organizations dear to the hearts of several of the team’s key members.
Lucy was with Zaidi to celebrate the Giants’ division title. He cried as the stadium erupted in joy, Zaidi, who was there with Fang, recalled.
When Farhan was hired as the President of baseball operations for the Giants, Lucy followed him to the big city. The couple spent time at a San Francisco hotel and a LA apartment.

Lucy Fang and her family reside in California’s largest city, Los Angeles. They named their kid Ijaz. According to The Athletic, the couple gave their child the name Ijaz, which means “miracle” in Arabic, and was inspired by the jazz flute scene in “Anchorman.”
Lucy has tight ties with Zaidi’s relatives. In 2014, she and Farhan traveled to Pakistan to see Zaidi’s grandma. On the way back to the States, they stopped in Dubai to see his uncle, an Emirates pilot. Zaidi often reads editorials written by his aunt, a political journalist.
Zaidi was raised in the Philippines despite his Pakistani ancestry. In 1968, Lucy’s father-in-law Sadiq was an engineer for a mining firm in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Sadiq loved the game of cricket so much that every summer, he would take his children to Pakistan to learn how to play.
Canada was also a stop on the trip because that’s where Farhan developed his love for baseball. Zaidi was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays as a young man. He also played first base in youth leagues and for his Philippine high school.
Zaidi and his siblings were educated at an international school in the Philippines, where they learned about and experienced various cultures.
