Who Is Katie Pavlich’s Husband?

Since 2017, Gavy Friedson has been Katie Pavlich’s husband. Katie secretly tied the knot with her Israeli beau, Gavy, on July 5.

This married pair has been together for nearly five years and is often seen in public together on Instagram. He gives his time to the Jerusalem-based medical nonprofit United Hatzalah.

Not only did he represent Israel on a worldwide scale, but he also oversaw international crisis response as its director. He formerly worked as a media associate at the Tel Aviv office of Set Public Relations.

Indeed, he was a fellow member of the IDF. He enrolled in June 2007 as an infantryman, rose through the ranks, and was the military’s official spokeswoman until July 2010.

He has been the first medic on the scene of several terrorist incidents as a first responder. Before returning to the United States in 2017 to assist with increasing United Rescue’s international cooperation efforts, he spent most of his life helping rescue groups in Israel.

He is responsible for providing input on selecting new sites and crisis response initiatives. After service in the esteemed Nahal Infantry Brigade, he joined the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit.

He holds an M.A. in Public Health from Tel Aviv University, where he focused on Emergency and Disaster Management, and a B.A. in Communications from Reichman University.
