DeAndre Yedlin’s parents are Rebecca Yedlin and Larry Rivers Jr. DeAndre was reared by his grandparents.
Yedlin is a professional soccer player who plays for Inter Miami CF and the US national team. Yedlin was a native of Seattle, Washington. He has played soccer since he was three years old.
DeAndre attended O’Dea High School in Seattle and took part in Washington Youth Soccer’s Olympic Development Program (ODP) from 2006 to 2009.
Yedlin enrolled at the University of Akron, where he represented the Akron Zips from 2011 to 2012. With the Akron Zips, he participated in 22 games total and had six assists at season’s end.
DeAndre joined Seattle Sounders FC’s U-23 division in 2012 and played for the squad from 2013 to 2014. He started participating for the US National Team in 2013.

The parents of DeAndre Yedlin are Washington natives Rebecca Yedlin and Larry Rivers Jr. He was created while Rebecca was a teenager.
Yedlin was raised by his grandparents and comes from a difficult family. According to The Sun, Deandre has not yet met Larry Rivers Jr., who is currently serving a life sentence in prison.
In order to provide Deandre a normal life, his step-grandmother and grandfather claimed custody of him.

Rebecca Yedlin lives in South Seattle and teaches at South Seattle College. She received a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Evergreen State College and a master’s degree (MS) in post-secondary and adult education from Capella University.
The mother of a well-known football star has been enrolled at South Seattle College for 16 years since getting her Bachelor’s degree, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Yedlin served as the Mop internship program coordinator at South Seattle College in April 2011. Since then, she has made contributions to a number of South Seattle College departments. She worked as an Instructure and Career Specialist from July 2006 to October 2009. She worked as a business liaison from October 2009 to April 2010.
As a Workforce Education Instructor/Coordinator, MOP Internship Coordinator, Tenured Faculty in Transitional Studies, and Tenure Track Faculty, Rebecca is now working by South Seattle College.
At South Seattle, Rebecca has a wide range of skills, including teaching business communications, developing programs, and offering career counseling.

DeAndre and Crystal got engaged on April 18, 2022. The couple welcomed a girl into the world in September 2021, who they named Seneca.
On October 3, 2022, Deandre and Crystal celebrated the birth of their daughter. The couple is soon to welcome a boy.

DeAndre has never met his father because Larry is serving a life sentence for previous robberies and kidnappings.
DeAndre didn’t know his father since his mother wanted to shield her son from him. Despite never having met his father, Yedlin has a photo of him on his phone.
