American TV and theatre actor Daniel Blinkoff is the spouse of Tamlyn Tomita. In the sixth season of Witch Wars, Daniel played the demon Thor.
The 56-year-old American of Japanese descent will play Yukari, Suki’s mother, in the much anticipated Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Her involvement with well-known franchises is genuine—she tried out for The Karate Kid II. She received recognition as an indie film queen for her significant parts in See the Paradise, The Joy Luck Club, and Four Rooms.

Daniel Blinkoff, Tamlyn Tomita’s husband, is a theatre performer best known for his live shows. Before she met Daniel, Tamlyn had one previous marriage.
The American-born actor, who spent his formative years acting in front of live audiences, earned his MFA from Yale School of Drama. He took part in several shows at the Antaeus, including Hedda Gabler, Macbeth, and American Tales.

Tamlyn Tomita’s Parents And Family Details
Shiro and Asako Tomita, both Japanese, were Shiro’s parents when Tamlyn was born on an Okinawa military installation. Half-American, her father was.
Her parents got together while his father was a prisoner of war during World War II. He was flown to Okinawa on duty as Vietnam and Korea’s unrest worsened.
After the war, her mother, who was half-Vietnamese, moved to the community.
They quickly fell in love and moved to Los Angeles, where he accepted a position with the LAPD. Tomita grew up in a middle-class family and went to high school in Granada Hills before going to UCLA to study history.
She wanted to work in the educational field and share her love of history with young people. When she won Nisei Week and was declared the queen, things changed.
The victory drove her to audition, and she told her family that acting had become her new dream after it.
Her Mother
She has always respected Asako Tomita, her mother, for the manner she has handled problems throughout the years.
The older woman took the citizenship test in 1992 to be able to vote for her government. Because she did not want to see their efforts go in vain, her two sons went along with their father to serve their country.
She made the lonesome trek on her terms without asking for assistance, and when her ballot arrived in the mail, she was delighted.

Shiro Tomita, Tamlyn’s father and a veteran of the United States, tragically passed away in the 1990s.
As the first Asian Taskforce in the Los Angeles Police Department, he was introduced as having founded it while serving an internship in Manzanar, California, during World War II.
In a Kababayan Weekly episode, his daughter related how they fell in love and how he first heard her sing Oh Danny Boy. He realized she was the one at that point.
He pursued her for five years after leaving the military before she finally said yes. They moved to the United States after marrying and had their eldest child, Tamlyn.
