The parents of Sidney Crosby are Troy Crosby and Trina Forbes Crosby. At the Ministry of National Defense, Troy holds the assistant deputy minister position.
Sidney is the National Hockey League’s Pittsburgh Penguins ice hockey team captain. In his first year of 2005–06, he led the NHL in scoring 102 points and was later awarded the Calder Memorial Trophy for rookie of the year.
Both the Lester B. Pearson Award for the top player and the Hart Memorial Trophy for MVP went to Crosby.

Sidney’s sibling, Taylor Crosby
Taylor Crosby is the name of Sidney’s sibling and sister. She used to play ice hockey at the collegiate level. Taylor played goalie for the Faribault, Minnesota, school of Shattuck-St. Mary’s.
As a part of the Hockey Nova Scotia program, she qualified for and was named to the U-17 squad. In 2013, Crosby represented Canada at the IIHF Women’s High-Performance U-18 Camp in Sheffield, England.
After finishing high school, she enrolled at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She received a degree in mass communication and a business administration concentration.
Her Facebook profile claims she attended the Russian National University in Moscow. Taylor followed in the footsteps of his older brother, and the two of them have a close relationship.

Taylor played three games for the St. Cloud State Huskies in the 2015-16 season. When St. Cloud State played Merrimack, she received her first career start.
Her final stats for the year were 1-0-0, 5.63 GAA, and.759 SV%. She played in six games as a sophomore, including four starts. Once again, Taylor has been named to the All-WHCA Academic team.
Her 2017–18 season with the Huskies was her second year receiving WHCA All-Academic honors while serving in a reserve capacity. Aside from hockey, she swam for the Colby Sailfish and played softball for the Eastern Canadians.
