Details On R. Kelly Assault and Jail Sentence

For sexual abuse, R. Kelly received a thirty-year prison sentence. In addition, he was found guilty in a New York court in September 2021 on eight charges of sex trafficking involving women, young girls, and boys.

The Eastern District of New York verdict was announced in the Brooklyn courthouse on Monday.

According to Variety, the 55-year-old singer was found guilty of racketeering and eight counts of violating the Mann Act, which outlaws transporting persons for prostitution across states.
