Brazilian mixed martial artist, Paulo Henrique Costa, competes on a professional level. He competes in the Middleweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) at the moment.

He is currently ranked fourth among UFC middleweights as of February 21st, 2022. His new hairstyle is being discussed by his ardent fans on the internet at large.

Paulo Costa Hair Transplant: Did He Get Hair Transplant?

Paulo Costa, a middleweight contender in the UFC, resigned from the matches in 2021 ostensibly because of a contract dispute. Paulo kept himself busy throughout that period by getting a hair transplant.

Paulo did not feel the need to use social media to keep his hair transplantation a secret from the public. Before it is possible to notice a noticeable change in the rate of hair growth, almost half a year has passed.

Before you can see the visual results of the hair transplant, it takes a full year.

How long will the effects of hair implants last is a question that many people want to know the answer to. The effects of healthy hair follicle transplanting into areas of thinning or balding hair can last a lifetime.

Men with hair are perceived as being more successful, strong, and physically fit than men without hair. This is a key factor in the rise in the popularity of hair implants. His thinning crown and receding hairline are concealed by this surgery.

And perhaps for this reason, so many people think Paulo pulled out of the fight with Jared Cannonier. On the other hand, it seems unlikely that this is the case given that he has been posting pictures of himself working out and having fun on Instagram.

When Costa’s middleweight rivals learned of this information, they immediately started making fun of him for his receding hairline.

Derek Brunson and Kevin Holland made fun of Paulo Costa online by posting an image that had been Photoshopped. Despite the fact that the hair transplant took place more than a year ago, people are still talking about it.

The reason for this is that they have seen that the MMA fighter has experienced some troubles with it. He got a hair transplant earlier this year, but despite the treatment, his hair is already starting to show signs of thinning.

If you compare his before and after photos, you can clearly see the change. The athlete is, however, free to express their opinions on anything connected to the subject.

Girlfriend Of Paulo Costa: Who Is She?

Paulo Costa refers to Tamara Alves as his girlfriend.

Tamara is the proud proprietor of the MundoFit and a successful businesswoman. It is a company that sells vitamins and accessories for fitness. She also states that she is a civil engineer on her social media bio.

Tamara is quite reclusive. Hence not much is known about her. She is reportedly a fan of exercise and wellness as well.

Tamara Alves and Paulo Costa met for the first time in 2013. They have remained great friends ever since.

When they initially met, which is when they started dating, she was fairly surprised by his enthusiasm for the sport of mixed martial arts.

Since they first met and felt an instant connection to one another, Tamara has been there for him through the highs and lows of their relationship.

Since Paulo and Tamara have been married for a while, it is obvious that their union is working out nicely. If the couple plans to be married is still up for debate.

They still seem to be connected to one another, though. They seem to place more importance on growing their careers than starting a family.

Paulo Costa Family: Who Are His Parents?

Costa was born in 1991, the son of odd job man Carlos Roberto and Maria Augusta.

Paulo is presently trained by Carlos Costa, his older brother, who has experience in mixed martial arts. Paulo played football throughout his childhood in Contagem.

He began Muay Thai training at the age of nine in order to develop discipline and stay away from the regular street fights he was getting into. Jiu-jitsu training was started by Paulo and his brother.

They were both teenagers at the time, but Paulo quit playing the sport when he turned 17, and their father passed away from throat cancer.

After a few more years, Costa returned to jiu-jitsu and started fighting once more while learning from his older brother.

At that point, the latter had already attained the rank of purple belt. Costa worked in real estate and as an information technology teacher, where he instructed pupils on how to use Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel to support his family.
