Paddy Barron Hopkirk, a former North Irish rally driver, went dead on July 21, 2022, shocking the entire globe.

One of the most well-known rally drivers of the 1960s was Hopkirk. His triumph in the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally is his most well-known accomplishment.

The driver’s career in the automotive aftermarket spanned a lifetime, and in 2017 he was elected president of the British Racing Drivers’ Club. In early 2016, he was appointed as the ambassador of the IAM RoadSmart Mature Drivers.
