Rachel Galimidi, the wife of Nate Appleman, works as an assistant director for Calibr at Scripps Research. September 2022 marked the start of Rachel’s employment.

The director of culinary innovation at Chipotle Mexican Grill is a highly regarded chef. He previously won the Chopped All-Star competition.

After that, he became the executive sous-chef at A16 in Napa Valley and Tra Vigne in St. Helena. He has won two International Association of Culinary Professionals awards for his cookbook, A16 Food and Wine.

He has also won other honors, but perhaps the most notable was the 2009 Rising Star Chef Award from the James Beard Foundation.

According to her LinkedIn page, she has extensively researched diseases and associated treatments using her exceptional research skills and comprehensive immunotherapy and antibody engineering knowledge.

She assisted a start-up in the Bay Area, securing over $100 million throughout many fundraising rounds while acting as the scientific leader.

Her undergraduate degree in human biology is from the University of Kansas, and she earned her doctorate at Caltech.

In 2022, the couple welcomed a handsome son named Poppy James Appleman.

Nate And Clarisse Were Previously Wed

He was formerly married to Clarisee, a health coach and integrative nutritionist. Her Facebook page says she studied nutrition and wellness coaching at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

On October 19, she celebrates her birthday. In her post, she requested birthday donations for the Kawasaki Disease Foundation.

Oliver is the couple’s first kid, and Nate and Clarice admire one another.

Nate Appleman Is The Father Of Two Babies

Nate Appleman’s offspring, Oliver Appleman, is a teenager, and Poppy James Appleman is a young child.

The older of the two, Oli, enjoys playing football for the school’s under-16 team while attending Point Loma High School. He wears jersey number 8 and plays for the Albion soccer team.

Oli was just two years old when he was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease. The disorder causes the body’s blood vessels to become inflamed.

Thankfully, Kawasaki disease was identified in him, and he immediately began treatment with a dose of antibodies created from a single plasma donor.

Appleman participated and took home the title of Chopped All-Stars on the Food Network three years after his diagnosis and treatment. He subsequently donated his entire prize of $50,000 to the Kawasaki Disease Foundation.

Poppy James Appleman, his youngest son, was born in August 2021. He’s only two years old. The family cherishes their time together. After the birth of their younger child, they grew pretty close.

The executive chef and co-owner of the A16 restaurant is Nate Appleman. The restaurant received three and a half stars for the quality of the dishes.

Also, he established the popular Pulino’s Pub and Pizzeria in New York City. Seasonal cuisine, locally produced ingredients, and sustainable ranching, farming, and fishing continued to serve as his sources of inspiration as he relocated there to operate the firm.

Afterward, Chipotle’s founder, Steve Ells, approached him and engaged him to lead the group’s culinary innovation division.

Being certified by the Verace Pizza Napoletana Association makes him one of the few American pizzaiolos.

Also, he works as a consultant and chef for his own business, the Appleman Projects, which he founded in 2020.
