Caitlin Dodunski, Mitchell Santner’s girlfriend, is an ecologist. On July 21, 2021, Mitchell and Caitlin engaged at Mangawhai Heads.
In September 2022, a few months after the wedding, Santner, and his fiance had their first child. Hamilton School is where Mitchell and Caitlin finished their high school educations.
Santner, a left-handed batsman and left-arm spinner, was initially selected for the New Zealand team after a successful domestic campaign in 2014–15.
After Daniel Vettori announced his retirement following the World Cup, New Zealand looked for another left-arm spin option and chose him for the one-day team for the tour of England.

Caitlin Dodunski, Mitchell Santner’s girlfriend, works for WSP Opus. Caitlin earned a bachelor’s degree in ecology from Masser University.
According to her LinkedIn page, she is an ecologist with seven years of experience providing advice on road infrastructure projects in the Waikato Region, primarily focusing on the ecology of long-tailed bats.
She has received certification from the Department of Conservation, proving her proficiency in managing long-tailed bats, identifying bat roost habitats, and supervising tree cutting where there is a good chance that bats will be present.
She possesses in-depth knowledge of project and team management and land and freshwater ecological surveys.

Mitchell Santner Family, And Children Details
Mitchell and Caitlin, his partner, started a family. On September 26, 2022, the couple gave birth to Izzy Esmé Santner, their first child.
He revealed the news on Instagram in a post where he shared a photo of his daughter and a statement containing her name and date of birth.
Caitlin and Mitchell have yet to exchange vows and become husband and wife. The left-handed batter has kept a low profile regarding his family and makes an effort to avoid discussing his private life on social media.
Mitchell, however, was brought up by his parents, Kerry Santner and an unidentified father. According to her Facebook profile, his mother is a graduate of Fraser High School.
Similarly, he has two siblings: Olivia Santner, a Massey University alumna, and Elliot Harvey Santner, a 26-year-old brother who plays cricket.
