The latest conservator on the Fix It Lives! The TV show is Louise Bainbridge. Louise is seen putting up the earliest known rugby trophy for boys at school.
After she replaced Krik in the new season, viewers were shocked when they saw her restore an old trophy to its previous glory.
The heavy wood shield was first used in 1904, and it was inlaid with over one hundred small silver plaques that identified the victors of each season.
Restoring the rugby trophy used annually by under-15 teams from 26 districts across Wales was a significant focus of the presentation.

The Repair Shop Episode Featuring Louise Bainbridge
Louise Bainbridge is the newest member of the service centre staff. During the rebroadcast, Louise took over for Krik.
Before striking out on her own and landing a part-time gig with the Corporation of Trinity House Newcastle, she spent over four years honing her skills as an item conservator at Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums (TWAM).
She also participates actively in ICON and the Museums Association. She has a bachelor’s degree in fine art from the University of Leeds and a master’s degree from Northumbria University, both in sculpting. She has studied and worked extensively in her chosen area.
In The Repair Shop, one of America’s favourite shows, she replaced Krik as the new cast member, making the show even more relaxing to watch owing to the show’s gorgeous woodland backdrop.
While the 37-year-old fan favourite was out of commission yesterday, woodworking guru Lou Bainbridge filled in.
Jay Blades, the host of The Repair Shop, had his spin-off show, Jay and Dom’s Home Fix, cancelled by the BBC in April 2022 after two seasons.
During the show, Jay and his co-host Dominic Chinea gave listeners easy-to-follow instructions for mending everyday household items.
Will Kirk Be Seen In The Repair Shop: Is He Leaving?
Since Antiques Road Trip creators Will Kirk and Christina Trevanion are working on a new program together, they’ve lately replaced him with Louise.
On October 31, 2022, the inaugural episode of the new show, The Traveling Auctioneers, aired. As they travel the country searching for hidden riches, Will and Christina assist families in “transforming unwanted objects into winning lots.”
Most people know furniture restorer Will Kirk from his appearances on BBC One’s The Repair Shop. Since the show’s premiere in 2017, he has made numerous appearances as a carpentry expert called upon to help out when necessary.
In addition to his furniture design studio, Will runs a restoration company out of South London. At London’s University of the Arts, he studied graphic design, and at London Metropolitan University, he studied the conservation and restoration of antique furniture.
In 2013, he made his television debut on Channel 4’s The French Connection, which followed British tourists who purchased antiques in France and attempted to resale them in the United Kingdom.
Later, Will was featured on the BBC show What to Buy and Why. As a celebrity, he has also made appearances on Strike It Lucky and Celebrity MasterChef.
