Kilner was transported by helicopter to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane following the incident during the third race when she crashed off Stella’s Turn in the home straight.

The galloper ridden by Owen Glue fell without assistance, and Kilner dismounted him approximately 75 meters from the finish line.
