A stroke was the cause of Keith Dinicol’s demise. He passed away on November 18, 2021, at 69.

Dinicol’s son Sam confirmed the tragic news of his father’s departure in a letter on Facebook. He had composed a lengthy obituary for his deceased father.

Sam wrote: “On Thursday, my Dad passed away due to a stroke. He leaves abruptly. While there are no words to express the shock and loss we are experiencing right now, I can muster some to explain the kind of man Keith Dinicol was.

Dinicol was a devoted spouse and father. In 1996, he tied the knot with Emma Dinicol, his wife.

Sam Dinicol, one of the three children Keith and his wife Emma raised in Stratford throughout 29 seasons with the Festival, posted on Facebook that Keith had unexpectedly passed away following a stroke late last week.

Joe Dinicol, his second son, has continued in his footsteps. Joe is well-known for portraying Rory Regan, aka Ragman, in Arrow’s fifth season. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Diary of the Dead, and The Virgin Suicides are three of his other significant roles.
