According to court documents, custody was the source of conflict between Janee Pedescleaux and her husband, Jermaine Roberts.
The media claimed that Pedesclaux could be heard sobbing and saying, “I’m so sorry,” on the video “I’m through. My kids have already left. I’m done now. For me, life has been sufficient.”
According to court documents cited by WVUE, Roberts sued Pedesclaux earlier this year for shared custody so he could visit their kids on the weekends. The tragic occurrence, according to New Orleans police, was “guardian related in nature.”

After pulling up in a white pickup truck, the man shown on surveillance footage, according to Fox 8 Live, was racing toward the residence. He is seen returning to the car with both kids.
Unnamed residents claim that the father allegedly hurried to the house after learning that the children had been hurt by Pedesclaux’s social media posts.
He allegedly broke into the home after finding the address and tried to climb through the front window to save the kids. He returned with the kids and then took them both to the hospital.
Case Of Janee Pedescleaux Stabbing Young Children
According to the New Orleans Police Department, Janee Pedescleaux, 31, was charged at the scene with second-degree murder, attempted murder, and second-degree cruelty to a child.
The incident reportedly took place on Sunday at 11 a.m. at home on Law Street in Florida, according to the authorities.
After stabbing the girl, age 4, and the boy, age 2, she fatally knifed the older child, Paris, and severely injured the younger child.
Pedescleaux can be seen glaring at the camera while donning a blood-stained tank top in the since-deleted live video. She experiences a breakdown and holds the father of the kid, Jermaine, accountable for what transpired.
The children’s father, Roberts, reportedly identified the issue as soon as the live video began and hurried to the home.
