Diane Addonizio, a New Jersey native and the wife of Howie Long, is an American lawyer. Diane and Howie first met at Villanova University.
Former American football player Long is currently employed as a sports analyst. He played at Vilanova and spent 13 seasons as a defensive end in the NFL.
In the second round of the 1981 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders selected him. He was chosen as the NFLPA’s 1985 AFC Defensive Lineman of the Year and the NFL Alumni’s 1985 Defensive Lineman of the Year.
Throughout his playing career, Howie earned three first-team All-Pro votes, eight Pro Bowl nods, and contributed to the team’s Super Bowl XVIII victory over the Washington Redskins.
He gave up playing football and pursued a career in acting and broadcasting. He made cameo appearances in thrillers and specialized in action movies.

Howie Long and Diane Addonizio grew close while Howie Long was a student at Villanova University. At the time, Diane was ahead of Howie by a year.
Long, who played football, invited Diane to watch an NFL game on television. In a player’s dorm room, they went on their first date while watching a football game.

Their wedding was held in a private setting and only their close relatives and friends attended.
On February 2, 2019, Diane and Howie walked the red carpet at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta for the NFL Hall of Fame ceremony.
On NFL family night, Diane and Howie also attended a superb production of “Lombardi.” The circle of the square in New York City was illuminated in 2010.

The three sons of Howie Long are Chris Long, Kyle Long, and Howard Long Jr.
Howie’s three boys have carried on his legacy and are well-known. Howard Long Jr., his younger son, is a member of the Raiders’ player personnel staff but does not play football. Football guard Kyle and defensive end Chris are both retired players.

Chris Long, a defensive end in football who played 11 seasons in the NFL, is no longer active.
He played for eight years after being selected by the St. Louis Rams in the 2008 NFL Draft. Later, he played for both clubs and won a Super Bowl while spending two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and one with the New England Patriots.
In 2017, he donated his whole salary to the organization, and in 2018, he was given the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award.
After 11 seasons, he announced his retirement from football on May 18, 2010.
Chris married Megan O’Malley on June 22, 2013, and the couple welcomed two sons.
Their first son Waylon James Long was born on March 2, 2016, and their second son Luke Redding Long was born on November 26, 2018.
Megan is a University of Virginia alumna and former NCAA lacrosse player. Chris routinely posts pictures of Megan and his sons on his Instagram account.

Kyle was a guard who spent seven seasons playing American football for the Chicago Bears after being chosen by them in the 2013 NFL Draft.
Long was selected for three consecutive Pro Bowls and one second-team All-Pro selection between 2013 and 2015.
Long suffered many injuries throughout the 2016 season. He participated in the first seven games of the season despite having a torn labrum in his left shoulder.
He was unable to participate in the Bears’ Week 8 contest against the Minnesota Vikings because of a triceps injury. The Mode Motorsports eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series team is owned by him.
Long started off as a studio pundit for That Other Pregame Show on the CBS Sports Network in 2020.

Howard Long Jr. is employed by the Oakland Raiders. He serves the Raiders as a personal assistant and premium sales consultant.
He was born in 1990 in Santa Monica, California. Howard attended St. Anne’s-Belfield School and was quite active in athletics.
He has played baseball and lacrosse in the past. Because he wanted to play lacrosse, he received a scholarship to attend the University of Virginia.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Howard obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Virginia.
