Introduction
Ryan J. Condal and George R. R. Martin created the HBO fantasy drama series House of the Dragon, which will be produced in the United States.
Both Martin’s 2018 book Fire & Blood and the 2011–2019 television series Game of Thrones have a prequel in this book. The “Dance of the Dragons” civil war, which occurred 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, as well as the beginning and end of the Targaryen family, are dramatized in this series.
A straight-to-series order for House of the Dragon was made in October 2019. The casting process will begin in July 2020, and principal photography will begin in the UK in April 2021. On August 21, 2022, the first episode of the series is scheduled to debut. The first season will consist of ten episodes.
