Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman decided the evidence was inadequate to proceed with the prosecution. Thus Steveson was not prosecuted.
Steveson & Martinez were both added to the team’s suspension list after being detained in connection with the incident. However, after the allegations were dropped, they joined the organization again.
In the original piece, there were references to AEW’s willingness to collaborate with sexual predators, Impact’s decision to release Scarlett Bordeaux to avoid a lawsuit and Shingo Takagi’s advocacy of sexual assault. However, the retweet brought Gable Steveson’s name back into the discussion’s forefront. With WWE, he currently holds a NIL contract.
Updates On The Case And Victim Identified
After a recent Twitter account revealed some information about the case, it has come up again. A Twitter user going by the handle @Cringewrestlingtakes published several details about the incident.
The case’s victim, however, has remained unidentified and has not yet had their name made public. Due to insufficient evidence and the fact that alcohol was a factor, the case was also dismissed.
In this way, Gable was released from all the charges against him and could go about his business guilt-free.
