On Sunday, a 50-year-old Beneteau was discovered dead in a hotel on Bali, Indonesia. There are no established causes of death. Regional authorities have not yet disclosed the reason of death.

Regarding Walter Beneteau’s demise, no other details are known. Between 2000 and 2006, Beneteau participated in and completed seven consecutive Tour de France races.
