Clayton Sparks, a 24-year-old student, died three years ago in a devastating skiing accident in Colorado.

Clayton was ruled brain dead after colliding with a tree on the left side of his skull. Although his death created a void in his family’s lives, he was able to assist a Houston family.

Clayton Sparks Bio

Clayton Sparks, a 24-year-old Willis resident who perished tragically in a skiing accident, was a University of Houston student. His parents, Beth and Larry, traveled to Denver to be with him as soon as they heard the news.

He was taken to a trauma one hospital after hitting a tree on their final run.

His family and friends regard him as a generous and caring man. He had a genuine soul and a giving heart, they said. He recognized the value of assisting people and being there for them in the ways that mattered.

He lives on in Reid because his liver saved the life of a father.

How Did Clayton Sparks Saved Father’s Life?

Clayton Sparks was an organ donor who was able to rescue a father’s life when his liver restored Reid’s health.

Reid and Abby were expecting their first child together. At the time, Reid’s wife, Abby, was 21 weeks pregnant with their twins. Reid’s urgent need for a liver transplant overshadowed the joyous occasion.

By chance, a mutual friend brought the two families together. The Gray family was fortunate to receive assistance from the Sparks family. The immediate liver donation went off without a hitch.

The Grays named their twins Oliver Clayton and Kaylee June after the guy who assisted them.

Clayton Sparks’s Cause of Death

Clayton Sparks died after colliding with the left side of his brain while snowboarding with friends in Colorado. When he was certified brain dead, he was only 24 years old.

Clayton died in an automobile accident on January 10, 2019. He was three classes away from graduation and had made it his mission to help those in need in any way he could.

Although he died almost instantly, he was proclaimed deceased on January 12.
