Introducing Maryann and Michael Kohberger, Bryan Christopher Kohberger’s parents.
Four University of Idaho students were killed, and Philadelphia resident Bryan Christopher Kohberger has been detained as a suspect in the case. Bryan, a 28-year-old Pennsylvanian, was in Monroe County custody on Friday.
According to the criminal complaint, the Moscow, Idaho Police Department, and the Latah County Prosecutor’s Office issued the active arrest warrant for the first-degree murder allegations.
The sources told CNN that an FBI surveillance team had been watching the suspect near the scene of his arrest for several days.
A law enforcement source said that Bryan took the Elantra across the country and arrived at his parent’s house in Pennsylvania just before Christmas.
The law enforcement source claimed that agents followed Kohberger throughout the nation and closely checked his parents’ house. According to authorities, DNA evidence links Kohberger to the crime site.
Additionally, Kohberger’s arrest on Friday marked the start of a key breakthrough in the inquiry. As he was transported to jail, Kohberger enquired whether “anyone else was held.” An extradition hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.
According to reports, at a news conference on Friday, authorities declared that a white Hyundai Elantra had been towed from in front of Kohberger’s home.
Authorities were able to identify the owner of the car that was seen in the area of the murders since his DNA was discovered at the crime site, according to law enforcement sources.
Kohberger hasn’t been detained previously, so it’s unclear how officials came into possession of his DNA. Returning to his parents, what age are they now? How do they make a living? Scroll down to the answers in the section below.
