Thirty-seven schools make up the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC), including 17 elementary, seven middles, four magnets, 4 K-8, and five high schools, one of which enrols students from eight other schools in four different counties.

Word had owned a restaurant since 2009, when he bought Lamasco Bar and Grill, according to the Indiana Secretary of State’s office. She launched Amy’s on Franklin in 2019. It is a fancier bar and restaurant.
