Ashley Hatch’s husband, Jeff Van Buren, took on managing her sports company in May. Jeff and Hatch wed in January 2019.

For the Washington Spirit of the National Women’s Soccer League, Ashely plays forward. She even got a golden boot when she played for the Washington Spirit in 2018.

The 27-year-old football player, who played for the BYU Cougars during her college career, the North Carolina Courage in 2017, Melbourne City FC from 2017 to 2018, and the Washington Spirit from 2018 to the present, have all been the teams she has represented.

On October 19, 2016, Ashley made her senior national team debut while competing in a friendly game against Switzerland. She made her second appearance on April 5, 2018, with Mexico.

Buren attended Provo High School and participated in American football while a student. In 2021, he received his Brigham Young University diploma. From 2015 to 2021, he attended the Marriot School of Business School of Accounting.

In December 2015, Jeff started his career with FastCommand as an exploratory sales representative. He later served as a landscape manager for Riverside Lawn & Landscaping in Utah.

For almost four months in 2017, Van Buren worked as a custodian at the Missionary Training Center in Provo. He afterward started working as an administrative assistant for Van Vuren Inc.

He served as an intern in doTERRA International LLC’s accounting department and Washington Spirit’s financial department. In April 2021, Jeff finally began working for the Washington Spirit as a project accountant.

Buren and Hatch have been dating for more than four years. The couple was married in 2019 and currently resides in the Baltimore-Washington, DC, area.

On September 28, 2016, Ashley and Jeff posted their first photos together at Utah State University. Jeff was present while Ashley participated in a game of women’s soccer for Brigham Young University.

On May 10, 2018, Hatch and Van Buren published their first photo together. In Provo, Utah, on a date, they first met.

Jeff donned a white shirt and black jeans on their date, while Ashley wore a stunning green one-piece with matching heels. She uploaded a sweet snapshot of the two of them to Instagram.

They began to travel together frequently as time went on. Ashley and Jeff’s passion for sports and outdoor recreation is evident in their Instagram images from their golfing excursion. On July 15, 2018, the pair shared photos of themselves on a golf course.

Jeff proposed to Hatch on November 11, 2018. He planned a surprise marriage proposal for her in Provo, Utah, complete with colorful lighting.

Jeff arranged their images of them and decorated the location on the day of the proposal. Red flowers, pictures on a board, a letter, and a diamond ring were all used to surprise Ashley.
