The police have detained Damian Bradford, accused of shooting a state trooper in Aliquippa.
He has been charged with shooting a state police officer in the city early on Friday morning, seventeen years after his involvement in one of the most infamous murders in the region.
Bradford discharged his handgun after a fight broke out inside the store, hitting one of the law enforcement officers in the leg.
EMS transported the hurt trooper to a Pittsburgh hospital, but as of Friday morning, no details about his condition had been released.

Damian Bradford Shot An Officer
Damian Bradford was accused of shooting dead Hermitage doctor Gulam Moonda in the vicinity of the Ohio Turnpike in 2005. Bradford thereby received much media attention.
He was the key prosecution witness in the case against Donna Moonda, the doctor’s wife, who was charged with hiring Bradford to commit the murder. The charges against Donna Moonda were judged to be true.
He received a sentence of seventeen and a half years in federal prison after being found guilty of his actions. After serving his time, he was finally released from prison in December 2020.
Donna Moonda was convicted of planning to have her husband killed. She is completing the remainder of her life term in Tallahassee, Florida’s Federal Correctional Institution.
Damian Bradford Arrest Details
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, a law enforcement official who has not yet been identified was shot in the leg at the Franklin Avenue Aliquippa Franklin Mini-Mart.
The Associated Press has identified Damian Bradford as their suspect in the shooting.
Investigators claim that incident happened when two troopers responding to a disturbance complaint encountered an armed man who shot at them as they struggled with him. The troopers conducted the appropriate arrests and then located that person.
According to reports, the trooper’s wounds are not considered life-threatening, and he is currently being treated at a hospital in Pittsburgh. Inspecting another officer for what seem to be relatively minor wounds.
PSP spoke during a news conference on Friday morning, but they didn’t offer any fresh details on the probe.

According to wkbn, Moonda’s wife Donna was involved in a romance with Bradford. Due to her involvement in the murder of Moonda, Donna is serving a life sentence.
Donna Moonda requested that Dr Moonda be killed so that she and her boyfriend, Bradford, could split the money from his estate.
