Bryan Kohberger has been taken into police custody. He is one of the four college students who were found dead in an off-campus home in Moscow, Idaho, more than six weeks ago.

The 28-year-old was caught because he was on a list of people who were wanted. This is what the Pennsylvania State Police said.

Kohberger, who is now detained in the Monroe County Correctional Facility in Pennsylvania while awaiting extradition to Idaho, is said to have been before a Pennsylvania judge on Friday and been transferred there without posting bond.

Prosecutor Bill Thompson of Latah County revealed at a news conference on Friday that Kohberger is facing four counts of first-degree murder and burglary.

During the news conference on Friday, officials refrained from going into great detail about the investigation.

The police chief said that some of the 19,000 tips they got helped them find and catch Kohberger. He would be prepared to explain how or why he came to their attention or when he was designated a suspect.

Law enforcement officials assert that a forensic investigation linked Kohberger to the Idaho crime site.

According to those sources, the FBI conducted surveillance operations in Pennsylvania on Kohberger, and the agency allegedly tracked Kohberger’s movements in the days leading up to his apprehension.

Additional details, including the factual basis for the accusations, will be made available to the public when a probable cause document is unsealed.

This won’t happen until Kohberger leaves Idaho and a warrant for his arrest is issued, which will take some time. Tuesday afternoon is when Kohberger is scheduled to appear in court in Pennsylvania.
