Let’s find out the details of Gina Gonzalez, who survived the Arizona Shooting in 2009.
The case was discussed in the opening narrative of the episode “Death Knock” of the Investigation Discovery series Deadly Women. The history is recounted from Forde’s perspective, staying true to the program’s title.
All three attackers were found guilty of murder in 2011. Gaxiola was given a life sentence without the possibility of release, while Forde and Bush received the death penalty.

What Happened In Arizona Shooting?
Shawna Forde and her accomplices entered the Flores residence on the pretense that they were law enforcement officers hunting for fugitives.
The suspects anticipated discovering cash and narcotics that might be used to pay for Forde’s Minutemen American Defense (MAD), a vigilante nativist organization that patrolled Arizona’s border with Mexico.
When they didn’t find any narcotics, the invaders seized some cheap jewelry and shot Raul Flores Jr., 29, and his daughter, Brisenia Ylianna Flores, nine, to death.
Brisenia’s mother, Gina Marie Gonzalez, the 31-year-old wife of Raul Flores, was in the house at the time of the incident and was shot three times.
She feigned to be dead yet still lived. Gonzalez dialed 9-1-1 and equipped herself with her husband’s revolver when the intruders fled the house.
